He is approachable, hands-on, and deeply committed to teaching and mentoring to achieve life-changing results. Grady believes in doing the work and rolling up his sleeves to make a tangible difference in the lives of the students he serves.
Our purpose is to create STEM access and awareness for Black and Brown students in Northeast Ohio and beyond by building on-ramps and opening doors to new opportunities. We are committed to meeting students where they are on their tech journey and providing them with the resources, mentorship, and support they need to succeed. Through our programs, we aim to ignite a passion for technology and equip students with the tools to navigate the evolving landscape of STEM fields.
With over 20 years of experience in corporate IT across various countries and continents, Grady Burrows holds an undergraduate degree in engineering and an MBA. As an African American who has faced the challenges of underrepresentation in STEM environments, Grady is passionate about making STEM pathways more accessible for Black and Brown youth. He is approachable, hands-on, and deeply committed to teaching and mentoring to achieve life-changing results. Grady believes in doing the work and rolling up his sleeves to make a tangible difference in the lives of the students he serves.

Hakim is very passionate about giving young adults the opportunity to experience and learn about different kinds of technology. He attended We Can Code It bootcamp in 2019 and that is where his journey in computer programming began. He has been with Grady since 2019 and dedicated hundreds of hours of classroom time teaching coding, robots, and drones. He teaches HTML, css, python, java and JavaScript.
Sharline is an educator turned administrator. Working with various databases, task and project management, delegation and collaboration are a few of her strong suits. She enjoys organizing and facilitating as well as ensuring that all things are running smoothly. Tech is her specialty, especially integrating various systems and learning new platforms. She is also a girl mom of 2.
